Lots of memories here, sure miss Clyde my brother.
They sure build their beautiful bridges with flare.
Shall we visit Clyde Junior? I think he is still doing Salvage Diving in Puget Sound. Ma's expecting us at the cabin and we've along way to go. I really want to, however, we just can't linger.
In those last days, my dear brother Clyde, never complained, never pointed an accusing finger.
The owner and author of name 'Green Frog Stuff Shop' was magical in his light banter. You purchased the engraved Presidential Coasters and I purchased the silver salt & peppershakers.
He is my age. Died so young. I wonder if his twenty years in sub duty as Master Chief had anything to do with it? Maybe something he breathed, while managing the building of those ships for Lockheed. At least he wasn't twenty-nine and disappeared on an underwater mine.
Is Mt. Hood in Washington? I remember last time I got Mt. St. Helena into Washington. Is it Mt. McKinley in Washington? I remember it is the biggest mountain in the states.
Let's look at the Atlas again. Well sweet, at least you got St. Helena right this time. It's Rainer in Washington, Hood in Oregon and McKinley in Alaska. Your 60 year memory is one of those fates.
He brought me such great joy, teaching me to use a shotgun. Even when I was 56 years old, I wasn't a bother.

Washington

(Evergreen State)

Well my dear, our transmission just broke, here beside Puget Sound.
Then lets picnic with a view of the bay, this place chance has found.
Good Sam comes through again, with those White Knights in a Peterbuilt.
Courteously towing us to a couple of fixit places, without a single tilt.

Pulled up to nice little 'trany' shop, where we lived in our Home on wheels.
While they kindly lifted us up on jacks, overhauled the trans and seals.
Tourists from our house on wheels, with guts torn out & strewed asunder.
Visited State Capitol Olympia & brewery, free time given to us as plunder.
After seeing 300 pounds of you getting on his pony dressed with crossed bandoliers, serape and huge sombrero, he totally loved you the very first time.
We sure enjoyed having a guided tour with Clyde and Peggy Sue. Climbed through the Sunday tourist to see that nice falls and stopped at that shop you liked so much. It was sure loaded with stuff. They even had a fan's cap from the Minnesota Lakers.
Driving on this bridge's metal grate, looking down a 1000 feet through a billion tiny holes, staying on my side of this narrow road and bucking high winds that are swaying the Coach, are giving me a scare.
