Ma loved riding in the RV. She was a fantastic rider and just turned 80. After the trip when we called Ma from the RV, she'd sing On the Road Again. On the trip all we had to do was make sure she had food that was mild.
Had my Mom fly in to Orlando, Florida's Airport and we picked her up and she went in the RV to sis's boat. It was the first time in several years Ma had seen Lois and the first in Carolina. My sister Lois, who Ma still calls Cookie, is Ma's first and only boat child.
Jill's fiancé Jay was assistant chef at the restaurant. The prices were a little steep.

It was a nice trip, watching sea birds, having the wind in your face and seeing Jack at the wheel. He made a perfect approach on that little island strand.
Jack with a degree from an Eastern College, loves boating so much he was going for his Harbor Pilot's license. He is now a skipper of a ferry going to a private bay island.

By golf course and small lake for two-day home at Charleston owned park.
Sister said our RV was bigger then her boat. Tiny yellow bird wasn't a lark.
Picturesque walkway on Charleston Harbor, historic Fort Sumter to view.
Beach walk by old breakers. Found unique spinning gadget & bought two.

Walking dock ramps, on high tide, right up to sister's parked Catamaran.
Jack and Lois love boats and its life. Floating home on bay and not land.
They sailed the great lakes, canals, rivers and ocean surrounding USA.
Mom, Teri, Me, Lois, Jack, Daughter Jill, eating southern food by the bay.

Ate my first Onion Blossom. They called it an Onion Block. It's a battered deep fried HUGE onion. It was on one big plate and they brought individual dishes of dip.
