We
ate at a small cozy world class Italian restaurant and the owner was our waiter.

Had
a ride on one of the many horse drawn carriages. One of the funny true stories
is that a carriage ran away with the local stores Santa Claus. The horse pulled
the carriage right through a restaurant's front window and they caught it two
miles away and 20 minutes later.
Remember when we followed our daughter in the RV and went over the really small
bridge that was rated for half our weight. As my rear axles were right in the
middle of the bridge, my mind registered what I saw on the max weight sign.
Only then I knew where I should absolutely not be.
See
almost every American club, Rotary, Elks, American Legion, Moose, Lions, Masonic,
Veteran of Foreign Wars, Future Farmers of America and 4H just to name a few.
Thank
you for not putting my name on the above line. I'd never tell that story or
anything on that tack.
I also remember the next day, when I left the water pump going and flooded the
RV.
Well a quick trip to Wal-Mart, our nationwide stop, we saved the day with a
new Black and Decker Shop Vac.
Going off the highway we drove through Lexington and Louisville.
We really never saw bluegrass or a horse with a plain name like Bill?
But we drove right by movie versions of Kentucky with magnificent horses.
And they really live surrounded by white fences in palatial white houses.
To Paducah, on not just a freeway, the Western Kentucky Parkway,
Daughter & five inherited grand kids. What a wonderful American Way.
Entire town barbeque on the Ohio River behind the twenty-foot floodwalls.
On the walls history murals. Sweating Rock singer behind crack rib stalls.
It
was nice walking around to booths, with everyone earning money for their clubs.
There was a contest for the best barbeque.
