Let me see now, what was I thinking about? Oh! Now I remember! ‘We are to begin a journey’. Now, what is always the first question? It’s here somewhere? Ahh! ‘What is needed to start the journey?’ Let me think, Yes! Yes! ‘In asking the question’, and I am sure I have this correctly, ‘You already have everything you need.’

I, Whoosadaisy, the Greatest of all Wizards will quietly overview your journey with patience and forebearance. I have assigned my assistant Roland James to do a little preliminary work. Just a little.

You know, there are many books written about wizards, even written by wizards.

Special wizards live in small cottages, tree houses, or even a small room. You experience a very mysterious, magical phenomenon happens as you enter the door of these special wizards’ abodes. You find yourself in a space that has no relationship to the outside. This space is vast in proportions, sometimes a palace, sometimes a majestic cavern, sometimes a beautiful celestial place. Always, the space seems infinite; you cannot possibly see all that is there. You wander about and wonder at all the marvels there.

These marvelous mystic places are short stops on our journey. You will be guided to astonishing marvels you have never before seen. Once glimpse, many of these marvels will never, ever, be seen again. You and you alone, Journeyer, will see these wonders. Your guide may not even get close on your heroic journey, for his position is to guide you to ways you choose freely, ways of wonder, ways…

Journeyer friend (for only with friends may this guide travel), you are to be prepared with magic journeyer’s tools. A little wizard nudge may be given along your way, never demanding, never reprimanding.

You, journeyer friend, will travel into a magic singularity.

Where is this marvelous, magic wizard’s abode?

You know, You know already. Go on! Go on!

Enjoy, participating journeymen, your abode, your magical abode. Enjoy becoming a journeyman wizard.

We will first do a little exploring, questioning, searching for information outside your abode. As magicians we will find information to help your journey inside.

Let’s take a peek, just a peek before we start.

Let there be darkness! Wait, didn’t someone else use that line?

Do not turn on the lights.

Don’t you dare look when you’re inside. He means it! Doggon-it!

We are now going to walk into our abode in the dark.

Remember, always, always, your journey is magical. Magic must be remembered. It is the very essence of a wizard.

Move slowly to your abode. Feel in front of you. Do you find a door, a turnstile, an automatic door or an air blown field? Maybe just your spirit floating though the wall? Have fun; try them all. If another way magically appears, have fun, be happy.

Now, just inside your abode with your eyes closed, get into a very comfortable position.

Everything is ready. With your eyes still closed, just gently feel. Listen very, very closely. More accurately, feel-listen. There is a beat there. The beat of the Universe, the beat of the Galaxy, the beat of the Solar System, the beat of Mother Earth, the beat of All Life.

The beat of Your Life.

You will sometimes feel-hear it with one line of a song, sometimes with a melody, repeating and repeating.

Now quietly, magically, leave your abode.

Turn on the lights. Open your eyes.

I bet you took a look around when you were in there. I should have put a no-look spell on you.
